Dr. Rachel Beir is amazing. She gave me life again, when I had no hope. I called Dr. Beir and told her I had hashimoto in my bloodwork from my pcp and i was always tired and lightheaded. She didn’t ask me to come in, she understood. She mailed me a prescription for blood work. She saw my cortisol and dhea was very low. She didn’t wait for my next visit, she called me right away. She took action and asked me to take a test at the hospital, to see if I took man made cortisol to make my levels go up within 30 minutes. She stated I need to do it that week. I didn’t understand fully what was going on. I googled it and realized this was serious. Coma serious. She said we’re going to make you feel better. She prescribed me steroids that was not to high of a dose. But enough to do the job. Having a empathetic doctor who genuinely cares is a blessing. I do not know how to thank her, but everyone who has my issue should know if you have a great doctor, don’t loose hope. Thank you so much Dr. Beir. You are a great doctor and person.
